Most frequent questions and answers

We are more than happy to design your printing. We can work with any images or ideas you may have and will consult you as to what you would like and we will email you a proof. We do not go to print until you ‘okay’ the work.

Word/Publisher/Canva are great programs; however, not for commerical printing – but that’s ok. We will take what you have in your program and format it in our graphics program and get it ready to be printed.

Yes, we have a self-serve and also offer full serve photocopying. We only use 24 lb paper (we don’t like 20 lb thin paper) and to save you time, we encourage you to email your file to us with instructions and it will be waiting for you to come and pick up. 

1) Save all colours in CMYK mode. 

2) Ensure all your images are at 300 dpi.

3) Ensure you have included a 1/8th bleed.

4) Save all text to curves/embed fonts. 

Ignite Printing Guarantee

We guarantee your satisfaction in the quality of our products we produce  or we will redo your order (or if you prefer, we will refund your money.) 

When you are sent a proof, we ask you to check for spelling, grammer, numbers and name accuracy on all text. 

This guarantee for printing refers to the quality of the print job and not the content after it has been approved by you, our client. We offer this guarantee on the following print issues (but are not limited to):

ghosting, smudges, incorrect perforations, form alignment, incorrect folding, incorrect size, incorrect paper weight, incorrect finish, and incorrect paper stock.

Your choice on the graphic design, paper specifications, folding options, finish and paper weight must be decided prior to printing. We have standard stock we use, as listed in our brochure and use that for all printing, unless you, the client, specify a different material. 

While we do try to catch errors in customer supplied files; however, this is not our responsibility.  

It is normal that the cutting process as well as folding processes may be off to a maximum of 1 mm. This is industry wide and not specific to Ignite Printing. Customer supplied files without a bleed are cut to the best of our ability. 

We offer a digital proof of most of our printing to ensure you get the colours you expect.

Turnaround Time

Our turn around time for most printing jobs is one week. Next day and same day are available; however, due to our work flow, we may need to charge an extra fee to accommodate.

Apparel

All apparel is guaranteed to your satisfaction. For artwork supplied images or logos we have on file, no proof will be sent. If we send a proof, it will be for the image only going onto the apparel. We do not provide a proof showing exact placement and size of printing. We use the standard placement sizes when it is specified for Front Left, Full Front, Full Back, Yoke, etc. and use our best judgement in terms of size of image/text.

We guarantee that our quality of screen printing/embroidery and digital prints are free from any defects or misprints.  We will provide a full refund on any stained, damaged or incomplete garments.

If you are not happy with your order please return the items within 15 days of picking up and if they meet the above requirements, we will gladly reprint. 

As with printing, where we have a standard stock we use, we have our standard Brand of apparel and Styles we use. When you, the client have not specified in writing we use our standard (most popular and most ordered) items. 

With all types of printing, when submitting the order, please include all details that are important to the job. While we may have discussed various options on your visits to our location, we are not responsible to remember all your preferences. When it is in writing, we can guarantee you will receive what you order!
